BARQ Systems held a Seminar to highlight the solutions and products it will offer to its customers as a result of its partnership with Alcatel. BARQ Systems and Alcatel invited more than 200 representatives to the event from various business sectors, Government, Educational, Telecom and Financial institutions, as well as its very wide customer base; and potential customers.
Mahmoud Soliman BARQ System’s President and CEO said the conference has given special focus on Voice-Over-IP (VoIP) and IP-Telephony solutions; Call Center Solutions and Applications, as well as LAN, Wireless, and Security Solutions from Alcatel.
He added that in regard to VoIP, Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise offers interactive communications solution for medium-sized businesses and large corporations. The solution combines traditional telephone functions with support for Internet-based telephony and multimedia communication.
The OmniPCX Enterprise provides a suite of unified communication applications, including a Web softphone, along with unified messaging and personal assistant applications. Based on a single software platform, the OmniPCX Enterprise is compatible with multiple operating systems, provides powerful communications services, and features an independent infrastructure.
While for the LAN, Alcatel’s next-generation OmniSwitch enterprise products offer integrated technologies that ensure the highest availability, security, and performance in the enterprise, without a cost premium. This family of switching platforms is optimized for voice and data integration and provides non-blocking multi-Gigabit Ethernet capacity, intelligent switching, and routing services – all at wire speed.
The seminar has also focused on the Large Core Switch (OmniSwitch 9000 series), Medium Enterprise (OmniSwitch 7700 series), Workgroup/Wiring closet solutions (OmniSwitch 6800 series), and Alcatel’s next generation OmniAccess WLAN products which offers a scalable, secure wireless LAN network and supports location tracking applications.
BARQ Systems has entered into a business partnership agreement with Alcatel earlier this year to expand its customer based in the enterprise sector as well as to cater to the demands of it customers in terms of internet-based telephony and applications.
